Dear Death, You know You are admired
by me, sitting here alone.
i trust You; i don't fear You. even, i'm inspired
by Your Majesty and Throne.
You play roulette with people's lives;
i truly am in awe.
i've tried to visit You at times,
but never can i say, "i saw
Death at Its greatest, for It took my life."
lo; no, i must continue breathing
day by day, in hope and strife.
all i have to ask is, "when?" my heart is seething.
the day i was born, Life became my Curse;
but You shall return me to my Maker's purse.
