Attack Information |
Double-edge is a Recoil move. After damage is dealt, a Recoil move inflicts 1/4th (by integer division) of the damage done to the opponent to the pokemon using the Recoil move. If the opposing pokemon has a Substitute up when the Recoil move hits, the pokemon using it will only take 1 HP damage, regardless of how much damage was dealt to the Substitute.
Recoil moves include: Double-Edge, Struggle, Submission, and Take Down.
Double-edge receives the flinching bonus when King's Rock is attached to the using pokémon.
Double-edge is affected by Brightpowder when the opposing pokémon is equipped with it.
