The base damage for Magnitude is determined based on a random number generated when the move executes. The random number has a range of 4 to 10 (as in part of the range of the Richter scale for measuring earthquakes) which will be displayed when the attack executes. What the base damage will be for each number (along with the percentage chance of getting each value) is as follows:

Magnitude receives the flinching bonus when King's Rock is attached to the using pokémon.
Magnitude is affected by Brightpowder when the opposing pokémon is equipped with it.
