| When Pain Split hits, it will attempt to make the current HP of both pokemon equivalent. It does this by taking the average of both pokemon's current HP before Pain Split hit and making this the current HP of both pokemon. If this number is higher than the maximum HP of one of the pokemon, that pokemon will only be brought up to its maximum HP.
Pain Split is affected by Brightpowder when the opposing pokémon is equipped with it.
