Attack Information |
After damage is dealt, Rock Smash has a 49.6% chance of lowering the opponent's Defense stat by 1 step (termed BTLs in the Gameboy description) on the Stat growth scale.
Out of battle, Rock Smash may be used to destroy rocks (which are shaped differently from the round boulders that Strength can be used to move). A wild pokemon battle may result after the rock is smashed. Some pokemon may only be encountered in the wild by this kind of wild battle. Rock Smash is affected by Brightpowder when the opposing pokémon is equipped with it. |
