Attack Information

Transform causes the using pokemon to become a near-exact duplicate of the opposing pokemon until it is switched out or fainted.

Near-exact means that the copy isn't identical. How this pans out is as follows:

1. Species - The pokemon using Transform will become the species of the opposing pokemon. This includes the physical appearance and type(s) of the opposing pokemon. In the Gameboy version of the game, the transformed pokemon will be entirely purple instead of the colors of the pokemon that it copied.

2. Stats - The transformed pokemon will have the exact stats of the opposing pokemon, including any stat modifiers that are currently affecting the opposing pokemon, except HP. The Accuracy and Evade stats are among those stats that are copied.

3. Moves - The moves that the using pokemon had will be replaced by the moves that the opposing pokemon posesses. Regardless of the number of PP that any of the moves of either pokemon had at the time that Transform was used, the moves that the pokemon receives upon using Transform will only have 5 PP.

The accuracy of Transform is unaffected by Accuracy/Evade modifiers.
