After damage is dealt, Tri Attack has a 19.9% chance of causing the pokemon it hit to be afflicted with one of 3 status conditions. The 3 conditions are Burned, Frozen, or Paralyzed. Which one of these conditions will be inflicted on the pokemon that has been hit is random. This is the only move which can cause a Fire-type pokemon to become Burned or an Ice-type pokemon to become Frozen. Tri Attack is affected by Brightpowder when the opposing pokémon is equipped with it. |
