Hello My name is Cindy. I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania and I am fairly new to breeding. However thanks to my good friend Candy I have learned a great deal about raising and breeding Mini Dachshunds. I came to love the breed simply by accident. I love smaller dogs and was looking for a dog with a long lifespan. And one that was good with children of all ages. Being I have 3 children that was very important to me. Well Dachshunds are smaller dogs weighing only 10-12 lbs. full grown. And they live 18-20 years. Pluss they are excelent dogs for children of all ages.
Thus I fell in love with Mini Dachshunds. Starting with just one My Sweet Jellybean Queen. Then one day I was brousing around on the net. I was interested in breeding these dogs. Because I had grown to love them so much and thought if i could help keep this breed of dog healthy and strong that was and still is my goal and commitment. So I put an add on a site looking for a stud. To breed with my beautiful black and tan smoothcoat girl. Within one day I heard a reply from Candy. Telling me she had a male red smoothcoat if I was interested. Thus began a wonderful friendship and my breeding. However instead of a stud I purchased another Dachshund. My Kento King a very handsome red smooth coat.
Since then I have been busy working with Candy on this site and raising my Dachshunds. At present time they are still a bit too young to breed. However on December 25, 2000. My Kento King will turn one. And Sweet Jellybean Queens next heat should be in January. At wich time I plan to breed them. I am really excited about this and am sure they will have some beautiful pups. Looking forward to being able to show them on this site sometime in March 2001.
