Luther Box's Family

Ruth F.Morris & Luther F. Box

MY grandma and grandpa Box were married February 9, 1915. They were both 22 years old. Grandma Ruth was the daughter of Nicodemus and Susan Whitehead Morris. Papa Luther was son of Joseph T. "Joe" Box and Martha Whitehead. They had four children together. Sadie, Reedie, Quinton, & Faye. Luther married again after grandma Ruth died to Effie Meherg. They had one daughter named Freddie Mae.

SADIE BEATRICE BOX

Aunt Sadie married Billy William McDonald on November 14, 1932. Aunt Sadie was 17 years old and Uncle Billy was 24 years old. They had two children. A son named Floyd Thomas, and a daughter named Winnie Ruth.

Reedie Fulton Box

My daddy and mama were married on August 16, 1936. Mama was 16 years old and daddy was 19 years old. They had two children. I, Patsy Anita Box, was born March 7, 1942. My brother Tommy Franklin was born December 5, 1954.

Quinton R. Box

Uncle Quint and Aunt Lee Ella were married around 1938. Uncle Quint was a year younger than Aunt Lee Ella. They had two children. Billy Joe was born October 13, 1949 and Martha Nell was born June 14, 1953.

Robbie Faye Box

This is Robbie Faye and her first husband, Garland Underwood, and their daughter, Betty Faye. They married in 1941. Betty was born October 11, 1942.

Faye's second husband Otha

Faye, Otha S. Thompson,Jr., & Otha S. Thompson, Sr.

Faye married her second husband Otha in 1944. Jr. was born in 1949.

Mama Effie Meherg, Freddie, Patsy, & Papa Luther Box

Grandma Ruth died in 1927. Papa then married Effie Meherg in 1932. They had one daughter, Freddie Mae. She was born 1936.

Freddie Box

Freddie married Richard Moore from Kennedy, Alabama about 1956. They have three daughters. They are Sheri, Deb, & Terri.
