Dinosaur shaped cake of course. You can make a volcano out of a bundt cake and have pudding oozing out of the top. (Vanilla pudding with red food coloring
works good). Then have plastic dinosaurs around the volcano.
Decorations
Games
Crack the dinosaur egg - make paper mache eggs out of balloons. Blow up balloons (not all the way - just to about the size of dinosaur eggs) and then
make a paste out of flour and water. You will need to cut a newspaper out into strips. Saturate the strips with the paste and lie on balloon a layer at a time.
When one layer is dry then you do another. Continue until the "egg"is kind of thick. Then you can color or put tissue on it to make it colored. You will have to do this ahead of time.
Place a small toy in the balloon before you begin to layer. After you have a couple layers on there dry - you will have to take a pin and pop the balloon (assuming you left a small space
for this purpose in the layers). When the kids crack their eggs at the party they will get a prize - just remember that the balloon is still inside there and you will have
to watch for those and be ready to pick them up.
Pet Rocks - have everyone decorate pet rocks. You will just have to get some smooth, medium sized rocks before hand for this.
Dino Egg Stomp - tie balloons everyones ankles. The balloons are dinosaur eggs. The object of the game is to stomp on everyone elses eggs and pop them but still keep your egg alive. The
one who is the last one with his egg still in tact is the winner.
