RADNOR
MIDDLE SCHOOL

Teacher:
Kathy and Johnny, can you give the class a definition of the word "
Overwhelmingly".
Kathy:
" Overwhelmingly " , ok, lets see, to cover over completely, as with
water; swallow up, as by a flood; to crush utterly; overcome with emotion;
oppress beyond bearing. At least that's what my dictionary says!
Teacher:
Very good Kathy! I like how you use the available resources to answer the
question. And you Johnny?
Johnny:
Well, since Kathy hogged the only dictionary in the class I had to use the
newspaper on your desk, anyway, " Overwhelmingly " , RADNOR WANTS
WAYNE MIDDLE SCHOOL. Is that right Mrs. Virgillio?
Teacher:
You are both correct. Class, tomorrow's assignment is to write an essay to the
school board using the word " Overwhelmingly " as many times as
possible. Class dismissed. Johnny give me that paper back, I haven't read the
society section. Oh and class, watch those stair wells.
