Paintball Home Mr. Tamborine Man
Spyder Compact Rating: 2 of 10 It still amazes me that this gun is being bought by anyone. It is a fast shooting gun, with great accuracy.
Unfortunatly, it has a range of about 30 feet. I once played with one, and could have spit on the guy before I hit him with the paintball. I should have thrown the paintballs.
This gun is fine if you play indoors (which I don't, hence the low rating), but otherwise get something else. The price is around $95. Spyder 2000 Rating 7 of 10 This is about the best you get with spyders. Every other gun made by kingman (with the acception of the compact and the hammer) is this, with more stuff on it.
However, it at least has some range on it. It can actually be upgraded until it's a TL or a Shutter. This gun runs around $125 so if you were considering a Compact, save up $30 and get this. Spyder Shutter Rating 7 of 10 Does someone have a mirror on the field?? Oh, it's just the spyder shutter.
It's shinny, real shinny. I recomend putting a cover on this gun, or you might as well put a neon sign on your hat.
Kingman was not thinking camo when they made this. Other than that, it shoots well and is efficient on Co2. If you keep it out of sight until you shoot, you should be fine. It runs about $230. Spyder Hammer Rating 9 of 10 This is a great gun. It is cheap, accurate, long ranged, and upgradable. It's kingman's best gun. Who cares if it is a pump, if the guy with a semi is out before you're in his range, all the speed in the world won't help him. It does lose one point for the powerfeed. A pump is a closed bolt gun, and so a powerfeed is totally useless, and it gets in the way.
