Caroline M. Keene, 77, of Division Street, Kingston, died Monday, February 8, 1988, in the Valley Crest Nursing Home, Plains Township.

Born January 14, 1911, in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary J. Curtley (ed. note--should be “Kirtley”) Zimmerman.

She resided in Plymouth and Larksville most of her life, prior to moving to Kingston seven years ago.

Mrs. Keene was a member of the Larksville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, George; children, George, Jr. and Harold, at home; Joseph, Kingston; Mary Jayne Gryniewicz, Edwardsville; Dorothy Sikora, Larksville; brother, Harold, Harveys Lake; nine granchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Reverend James Edwards, pastor of the Larksville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre.
