Mrs. Cora McDaniels, of 104 Railroad St., Larksville, died early Friday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following an illness.

Born in Larksville, Nov. 5, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Euphemia Marcy Zimmerman.

She resided in the Larksville and Plymouth areas most of her life.

She and her husband Leroy celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in November 1985.

Mrs. McDaniels was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorraine and a sister, Mrs. Mary O’Melko and a brother, William.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are daughters, Mrs. Leonard Koval, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Donald Long, Plymouth; Mrs. Anthony Kukosky, Pringle; Mrs. Anthony Suprum, Lake Parsipany, NJ; Miss Dorothy McDaniels, Wilkes-Barre; sons, Leroy, Edwardsville; Daniel and William, both of Larksville; Thomas, Dallas; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Inkerman; Nathan, Kingston; sister, Mrs. Althea Shamanski, New Brunswick, NJ.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 P.M. from the Williams Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth with the Rev. Robert Thomas, pastor of the Puritan Congregational Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pringle.

Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
