According to the American Heart Association, approximately 35,000 babies are born each year with a heart defect. This averages to roughly one in 100. What causes the defects is not known, and there is little research on the subject.

Congenital heart defects are the most common birth defects and cause more deaths in the United States each year than all childhood cancers combined.

Funding for childhood cancer is five times higher than funding for congenital heart defects, though twice as many children die from heart defects each year as from cancer, according to the heart association.

There are so many out there who are in dire need of our prayers as well as support! Please go to the BASIN page and visit with them as soon as you get a chance!

Thank you for tuning in, and most important of all, thank you for caring!!!

LOVE & PEACE ALWAYS!!
