Also a huge part of my life is my fiancée Andrew Johnson. We have been together now for over a year. We just have so much fun together... we never even fight, but we do laugh alot.

He proposed on Pensacola beach (Florida) right in the spot that we met.

Now more about my life...

As you already know i skate alot....and i don't mean ice i mean roller. But i want to talk about my first love....Dancing.

Any kind of Dance espicially Ballet. I had been taking dancing lessons since i was five and up until January of 2000 i was pretty good.

I began dancing thanks to my friend Serena Todd at Bonnies dance studio in Charleroi's fire hall until Bonnie got her own studio in Belle Vernon. Then when i was twelve i switched to Shirley Tater-Deans school of Ballet and Modern dance in Belle Vernon.

I auditioned and was good enough to get accepted into Point Park College (they only took 90 girls and 10 boys out of 1100 people) and even getting a few dance scholarships along the way. The only thing that stopped me was my feet. I broke them so many times that i couldn't get any doctor to release me back into classes. So they told me I'll pretty much never dance again. It's not that bad though. Well at first it was....but if that wouldn't have happened I would have never gone to back to the skating rink in Donora which helped me get through not being able to dance by getting back on my skates.

My mom and dad always tell me to follow my heart when it comes to what i want to do and my heart after dancing is at the skating rink. All i want to do now is skate. It's wonderful to be addicted to something like that.

So about my skating career.....I speed skate, roller not ice. I won a gold medal at the Junior Olympic Quad Nationals when i was 16.

This is me and John (my former coach who taught me everthing about speedskating)in Lincoln Nebraska-1996 right after i got awarded the gold medal for Junior Ladies.

That was back when quads were the main event and inlines were for the inexperienced skater but now its singled out cause most quad skaters have gone to inline speed skating. You can get way more speed on those things. This past Feb. 2002 i came back to quad nationals and got a bronze medal in the Senior Ladies Division and if i can say so myself, it was the hardest third place i've ever had to work for.

2002 Quad Nationals...thats me in third place with the Bronze medal.

Now also, thanks to Linda Miner(the lady who owns the rink who is like my second mom)has opened my eyes to Creative Solo Dance Skating. This is awesome cause its like i'm dancing a solo in a dance recital except i'm on wheels and there are judges in front of me. I love it!!! Now I'm holding a silver medal in our Eastern Region for creative solo dance and a Bronze medal for Figures.

Yes, this is me in costume. I danced to the Twilight Zone.

Two more medals for my Wall of Trophies at home!!!

I still keep up with my love of Dancing by teaching at Attitudes in Motion Dance Studio right here in the mon-valley.

I have a great group of students who work as hard for me as I work for them. We have some pretty awesome dance recitals so when ever you can stop by and see us!!!
