This is me at my very first speed skating meet in 1994 and at figure skating Regionals in 2003. I couldn't believe it but i actually won my first speed meet beating speed skaters in the standard division when i was only Jr. Olympic. from then on i was hooked on skating!!! Now I am figure skating and I'm winning that too!!!
August 2004 - Downers Grove, Illinois-The race of the day is going to Stephen Carter representing Subzero Skates, in the cyclist vs. inline challenge. Carter with lane choice, chose the right lane, and off they were! Carter with a huge lead at 50 meters at the midway point and the cyclist from Italy making his move and closing the gap, 5 meters before the finish, one hesitation and the most incredible inline hawk on the planet was thrown out there! The cyclist from Italy being no stranger to a field sprint I'm sure. Closed the gap and just nipped Carter at the finish line, lunging his bike foward for the win! It was a great finish and the best challenge yet for the cyclist and inline skater in Downers Grove History.
This is an old friend Megan M., me and chrissy at the outdoor part of the easter invitational in fayetteville north carolina. 1995 i got 2nd place in the indoor competion earlier in the week.

This is me and Chrissy at the Fayetteville NC. invitational. What can i say about us, we skate exactly alike, and we were awesome relay partners. When we weren't going to win we laughed alot and skated a few laps and gladly got off the floor. Actually right after this picture we saw our competition and laughed and got off the floor after being lapped a few times.
This is me getting ready to skate at an outdoor race in westlake ohio.this was an absolute beautiful race on a raodcourse through a park. and next is Mark, Robbie, and Ronnie sitting after the race.
This was Ronnies first race ever and i think he is hooked now on speedskating.

These 2 pictures are of me getting ready for my first skating figure skating meet. it was the Brookepark Invitational in Brookepark Ohio. Don't you just love the pants with the skating dress? oh and by the way this isn't night time it's about 4:00 am.

And these other pictures are of me and the loveable Lindie Loo Hoo...she owns the rink, coaches me, and among everything else she's my second mom. She really does take care of me and i Love her for that. She's the best...
These are our Jr. Club girls at the Valley Skating Center. They work so hard and are just sooo adorable...Mr. Brad teaches them along with my help.
