The Goonies - in my opinion, the kids film of the eighties. Me and the kids from my street grew up together wishing we could have cool Goonie adventures - who didn't!? And is it just me, or was this film on TV every school holiday - Christmas, Easter, summer...? Anyway, how glad was I to pick up the video at HMV in a 3 for £15 offer!?
Altogether now, let's say the Goonie oath:
"I will never betray my Goon Dock friends,
We will stick together until the whole world ends,
Through heaven and hell and nuclear war,
Good pals like us will stick like tar,
In the city, or the country, or the forest, or the boonies,
I am proudly declared one of the Goonies."
