Lord Zoltan is one of the
most recognizable wrestlers in the entire United States.
Managed by Mayor Mystery, Lord Zoltan has wrestled in four
decades spanning a quarter century and has held virtually
every Junior Heavyweight Championship in the Tri-State Area
(Pennsylvania-Ohio-West Virginia.
The master of the Triangle
Death Grip, Zoltan has wrestled through the continental
United States as well as Canada including the island of
Newfoundland.
Lord Zoltan was one of the
first wrestlers to begin painting his face and also one of
the first wrestlers to use theme music to come to the ring
as part of the tag team, “the Funkadelics”.
The painted-one often uses
ghoulish tactics to scare fans and to play mind games on his
opponents. Once inside of his opponent’s heads, Zoltan is
usually a Death Grip or a sleeper away from victory.
Zoltan won the CWF
heavyweight championship from Denny Gregory at Monessen
Mayhem (11/13/04) and held it for seven months before
dropping it to Dr. Feelgood at Continuation
(6/11/05). Zoltan never received a rematch.
After taking time off from
the CWF, Zoltan returned to team with Nasty Nick to form the
French Ticklers and they did not hesitate in making a
splash.
They defeated the West Coast
Hustlas (“Bling Bling” Benny Benz and “Big Dawg” DC Bentley)
to win the CWF tag team titles at Upside Down
(11/25/06) and have held on to them since.
Whether in singles action or
tag team matches, the legendary Lord Zoltan brings an
excellence to the ring that is mystical. As long as Zoltan
is in the CWF, he will continue to mystify fans.
