When he won the CWF
heavyweight championship at Fall From Grace (9/2/06),
Zubov became only the third person to regain the prestigious
belt, joining Boomer Payne and Dennis Gregory.
One of the most hated
wrestlers in CWF history, Zubov is often irritated by fans
when the chant Goldberg at him. Zubov has been known to
leave shows and not wrestle because the fans annoy him so
much.
Zubov first made his mark in
2004 when he and Dr. Feelgood feuded for the entire year and
won the award for “2004 Feud of the Year” for their actions.
Zubov would later unseat Feelgood as CWF champion at
Halloween Horror (10/29/05). He would defend the belts
two times before being stripped of the title because of
“unethical tactics” by Commissioner LeGrande.
Whether he holds a title or
not, Zubov has established himself as a star in CWF. A
mainstay, it is a safe bet that Zubov will be in the middle
of things for a long time to come.
