James Patterson's Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas

JAMES PATTERSON'S SUZANNE'S DIARY FOR NICHOLAS, a new television movie starring Emmy Award winner Christina Applegate (Married With Children, Anchorman) and real-life husband Johnathon Schaech (That Thing You Do, Judas), will be broadcast Sunday, March 27 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The drama is based on author James Patterson's New York Times best-selling novel about a woman who discovers the truth about her lover from the diary his wife wrote to their son. Kathleen Rose Perkins ("Burning Annie") also stars. (Previously scheduled for a later date). In this haunting love story, Katie Wilkinson (Perkins) is a New York book editor who falls deeply in love with author Matt Harrison (Schaech). On the night Katie plans to take their relationship to a deeper level, Matt tells her that he is breaking up with her and leaves with no further explanation. Katie is devastated and, unbeknownst to Matt, pregnant with his child. As Katie struggles to make sense of what has happened, she receives a package from Matt containing a diary written by his wife Suzanne (Applegate) to their young son Nicholas with a note explaining that, though it will not be easy to read, he hopes it will help Katie understand him better. As Katie reads, she begins to comprehend the painful journey that he recently experienced and how it influenced everything in his life and, in turn, in Katie's life as well. JAMES PATTERSON'S SUZANNE'S DIARY FOR NICHOLAS is being produced by Fox Television Studios. Lourdes Diaz ("And Starring Pancho Villa As Himself"), Robert B. Sturm ("One Hour Photo") and James Patterson ("Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas") are the executive producers; Jeff Freilich ("Falcon Crest") produces.
