I wanted to create a fist that looked massive but not stuck on the end of my arm, and I also wanted it to work. First attempts at the finger mechanism with the expansion springs inside didn't work, so I had to mount them on the back. It also took many attempts for the cable routing to ensure it didn't snag. The palm of the fist had to house my hand and allow me to clench my fist in order to move the fingers, it also had to pivot at the wrist. The finished fist, i think looks in proportion but doesn't have the mobility I wanted. It is also heavier than I would like as the finger tubes are steel as I couldn't get hold of aluminium. Holding a pint of beer in the hand may prove tricky!"
