“ Tag! Your it!” Pouncival yelled. Tumble made a loud groan.
“ I’m tired out you guys I’m taking a break.”
“Yeah same hear” Munkustrap panted. He had been forced to join by all of us, we thought he wasn’t getting as much exercise like he used to.
“OH! Please!” Pounce begged.
” They’re right Pounce we’ve been playing this for ages and, even I’m tired out too” I agreed.
“YOU NEVER get tired Alonzo” Pounce muttered.
“Well I’m taking a nap with Dem and if something bad happens tell me or Old Deuteronomy ok?” Munkustrap walked off to Demeter and curled up by her side. Tumble did the same accept he went to sleep by Victoria and Pounce went to find Plato so I was by my self. I decided to clean myself (although I was clean) seeing as there was nothing else to do. Then suddenly 3 quittens jumped on me knocking me right over so I smacked my head on the ground. The whole world went black. But then everything was back to normal, this is strange I thought. My head still hurt but that wasn’t bothering me. It was rather weird that I could see only Mungojerri and Rumpleteazer on the tire. Now this is odd, you always see them sneaking around or sleeping. I went up to them.
”Hey why aren’t you 2 robbing or something.” I said. They looked up at me with surprise as if I just spoke some foreign language.
“ I don’t know what you are talking about.” Rumpleteazer said confused.
“We’ve never done something that terrible, EVER!” Mungojerri said.
“Yes you have and, wait a minute, you’re speaking… posh like, not… in a cockney accent!? They didn’t answer.
“ Well at least you two finally have some common sense.” They looked absolutely stunned at this but they didn’t have time to answer for more cats started to come now. Oh well I thought, at least they’ve improved. As more cats came in I started to look for one of my closest friends, Munkustrap, so he could explain to me what was going on. I finally spotted him slinking in with a red tom. Oh my god its MACAVITY! Immediately I yelled;
“ MACAVITY!” Everyone looked at me weirdly and most of them started to laugh.
“ Yeah and…your point is?” Macavity said.
“ You’re the hidden paw!” I screeched
“ Don’t be stupid Old Deuteronomy is the hidden paw duh!” Munkustrap replied. Soon everyone just walked past and ignored me but I was still in shock. What? Old Deuteronomy? The Hidden Paw? What was going on? Maybe I should just ask everyone about this hidden paw thing. I looked around, ah ha, Victoria, she will understand!
I walked up to her.
“ Hey Vic can I have a word with you?” I asked.
“ Fine” she muttered in some weird low voice.
“Ok, why is everyone acting really… weird”
“ Everyone’s acting normal you…!” And said a very rude word. I was surprised, I don’t think this is the normal Victoria Alonzo I thought.
“ Oh no not you too!” I moaned. I looked around to see if anyone else was acting different. Oh god! They were! Jemima was really load and roaring with laughter and seemed to be telling some very rude jokes! The twins’ weren’t together at all and when ever they looked at each other they exchanged evil glares, Demeter was snuggling up to Macavity, Etcetera wasn’t stalking Tugger and was so quiet, like Jemima was, and even Bombalurina wasn’t flirting as usual she just sat with Demeter looking as shy as ever! I suddenly had a major panic attack. OK Alonzo think, try and think. Why is this happening? I no! Maybe its Macavity putting a spell on them, in that case I would have to plan an evil attack on the red feline. Suddenly a voice interrupted my thoughts.
“ You done now?!” Victoria blurted.
“ What? Yeah, Yeah I am” I said and with that she padded off to Jemima and I was left with my plans. 5 minutes later I was all set with my plans, so I sneaked behind the tire where Macavity and Demeter were. I arched my back and…an ear splitting roar came from Macavity. I was still on his back sinking my claws in, griping on for dear life.
“Get him off me!” Macavity yelled. All the jellicles rushed up to Macavity and started to bite my legs, trying to get me off him. Then 3 quittens jumped on my back, which made my fall to the floor.

“ Is he all right Jenny?”
“ Yeah and we’re ever so sorry, we didn’t mean to knock him out we were just playing”
“ Oh I feel awful!”
“ There, there its all right I no you girls didn’t mean to hurt him, shh…look he’s waking up.”
I opened my eyes to find 5 queens standing all around me, On my right hand side was Electra and Etcetera and on my left was Jennyanydots sitting on a chair with Jemima sitting on her lap, sobbing in her arms and next to them a tear stained Cassandra.
“ Ouch” I groaned as the pain throbbed in my head.
“ Oh Alonzo you’re all right” Cassandra came rushing up to me, hugging me tight. I hugged her back. In fact they all came to hug so I was squashed and couldn’t breathe.
“ Oh, Alonzo I’ve been really scared” Cassandra cried.
“ Honestly, it was only a bump on the head” Etcetera insisted but got a glare from Jennyanydots, which made her shut up.
“ I’m really sorry Alonzo” sniffed Jemima.
“ Yeah me to.” Electra and Etcetera said together.
“Well I’m ok but I had this really weird dream”
“ Oh, oh lets hear.” All the quittens said together. So they all sat round and listened to hear my very weird upside down dream.
