Hey, just got back from children's camp at Summit Lake. I signed on as an assistant counselor, but I ended up in staff instead. It was a lot of fun; I may sign up as staff next year!
Victor Crowley is the guy whose slightly creepy portrait is hanging in the director's lodge (at the top of "Mt. Olympus"), and our director was totally freaked out by it. She slept with the light on every night, and anything weird or bad that happened, we blamed on Victor Crowley. It's a good thing nobody slept in the Marguerite lodge, where his wife's portrait is hanging...
The other half of this was the phenomenon known as "The Man". (No, not Dan-the-man, just The Man.) If you stood at a certain place and looked at a certain reflection at night, it looked like a man crouched over. If you walked to the left, it looked like he moved. It was actually pretty creepy, and if I hadn't gone to see it with like, twenty people at the assistant counselor party, I would've been freaked out. So some of the staff started making up this plot for a horror movie that involved The Man and Victor Crowley. Here are some highlights:
Liz lasts to the end DeVona dies gruesomely, because she's a fighter (it's the weed-whacker!) In accordance with poetic justice, Zach dies when attacked by Crowley-possessed ducks (but Bill and Alfred are on our side) Bryan is viciously mauled and ingested by a homicidal deer Hayley and Blake die trying to save each other Carol goes nuts (actually, we're not so sure this didn't happen already--she and DeVona were playing ping-pong on the coffee table with their sandals at 3 AM)
