I think that was one of the coolest school dances I've ever been to. I just hung out with my friends the whole time, and danced and had a blast. They played "Friends" by Vitamin C and a whole bunch of seniors (plus Dee) just got in a big circle with our arms around each other's shoulders and sang along. And then they ended with the Chicken Dance. :D

Okay, backing up...
I decided to go to all the dances this year whether I had dates or not, cause it's my senior year and I wanna have fun and not be held back by my own silly little fears. So I went a got a dress at Deb's (CHEAP!, but like three other girls were wearing almost the same thing). I planned to put my hair up in this fancy-schmancy do, but then it all went nuts and I ripped out part of my hair and I was getting all flustered and stressed out b/c it was time to go and I still had to do my makeup and stuff, so I just put it in a ponytail, and it was fine.

Then, Chris (my older brother) had to take my picture because my parents had gone to a Valentine's dinner at the church before I changed clothes. Dad had been worried that my dress was too short (it wasn't) and Chris said that if it wasn't decent, that he'd wrap me in a blanket and staple it to my skin. So then he was offering to chaperone with the staple gun along--"Hey, Buddy, hands off!" *ka-chunk ka-chunk* "AAUUUUUGGHHHH!". But apparently I passed muster. And then I lost my keys and I came back in all freaked out and Chris had to lend me his. Oops. I still don't know where they are.
Friday was kewl, too. Dee came over after school and we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp in it. Very awesome movie. Like it mucho. Has a very nice "Roxton-gets-stabbed" sequence! Hee hee. Never mind. You prob don't want to know.

Had play practice on Sat. Zoe is adorable! She's playing Randolf's part--name changed to Cathy. I think she's a better actress than I am. Lowering thought. Not hard to accomplish, tho. I drove Holly and Amy to Subway for lunch. Yummies. And then everybody was back late and we were wondering where they were b/c the school was locked, so we called Andrew's house to get his cell phone number and Madeline went to call it and we told her the wrong number by accident, and she's saying, "Andrew? Where are you?" in this horrible Chinese accent, and this guy's like, "Umm... In Lowe's?" It was great.
So yeah, that's been my weekend. Not bad at all. Hope everybody had a good Valentine's Day!
