"Gathering Flowers" by Albert Lynch

Ah, two-hour delays make for pretty days, no? We had one today. It's so nice to actually go to school when the sun's out. And then it got so sunny today, and nice out despite the pretty snow all over the ground--- *sighs* Lovely.

"Rapture" by Henry John Stock

I just realized today that there's less than a week before Christmas vacation! Yay! I also realized today that I have to sing my Sharps solo on Friday. BOOOOO! It's really stupid. I won't numb your brain by singing it to you, but let's put it this way. Dee was complaining about her solo, and I said, do you want to sing mine? and she said, completely deadpan, No, yours is stupid. And it's the truth.

"La Bella Mano" by Dante Gabriel Rosetti

Guess what? I should be canonized. I performed a miracle yesterday: I cleaned my room! I know, I can hear the shock in your voices. My dad faked a heart attack when I told him. He's such a doof. But it does make being in my room a much pleasanter experience.

"Fanny Cornforth" by Dante Gabriel Rosetti

The reason I was able to clean up my room yesterday was that church was cancelled. Now, I'm not saying that not having to go to church was a relief, persay, but it did allow us time to get the Christmas tree up! And it felt like a longer weekend. I mean, Sunday's the day of rest, right? Well, I rest a lot better when I know I've gotten things done. :)

"Bottles" by Dante Gabriel Rosetti

So this Christmas season I've got some stressful stuff to do: like, a research project? AUGH! Okay, I don't want to think about that. Happy thoughts, Ashley, happy thoughts.
