It is the end of September.

If you read that in the right tone of voice, it sounds like something much more despairing, like, "It is the end of all things..." Hm. Funny, that. Anyhoo...

Life is gorgeous today. I'm not entirely sure why. But the sun is shining, My work is done, my pointy ears are drying underneath a strainer nicked from the lazy-susan in the kitchen... yep, life is good.

Today I went to a youth group thing called "French Tips and French Toast", where the girls and our mothers (and, in my case, my grandmother) ate breakfast and painted our nails. My nails are pretty long right now, so the French tips look really nice. too bad they'll prob chip before the homecoming dance next weekend...

I saw the most unbelievable sunset Thursday... I can't even describe it. I just stood there for like, half an hour (I think) watching the sun go down. It was ethereal...

I really am angry how Faramir was depicted in the movie of The Two Towers (boy, I'm really jumping around here, aren't I? Have I given anyone mental whiplash yet?) I just reread how he's depicted in the book--and I can't help but love him! But I really dislike him in the movie. Everyone who's seen the LoTR movies but not read the books, at least read the part in TTT with Faramir. Because you're supposed to love him. PS: He has black hair, not red ha ha (actually, I heard some speculation that Legolas was not a blonde--his coloration is not described in the books, but there's something mentioned about Frodo looking up at his "dark head", but nobody's quite sure what that was supposed to mean.)

Anybody who loves fantasy/science fiction/fanfiction/art, go see Elfwood! It's wonderful!

Um, let's see. Psychology class is interesting, but a bummer. English is great. Design is great. Drawing is AWESOME! Harry Potter Rocks. Can't wait to see the next movie (it doesn't come out until June! Waaah! Guess I'll just have to hang on to Dec 17- RotK! Yeah!) Found a drawing of Remus, Lupin and James as students--yowza, they're cute! Put it up in my locker. It uplifts me between classes XD This is it.

If you want to buy pointy ears for Halloween, try here.

Have discovered Edward Gorey. "A is for Amy, who fell down the stairs, B is for Basil, assaulted by bears..."

I would like to start a role-playing game with some friends, but I'm afraid to ask. Also, afraid they won't take it seriously.

Want to write. Can't get the gumption; also not sure exactly what to write. Grrrness. "N is for Neville, who died of ennui."
