| "This is a recognition for Nintendo and it's current system Nes. As I bring you all here I feel it is time for some recognition for Nintendo. I often ask my self, what draws me back to Nintendo games from any other Company ,as I've asked that question to my self from year to year, school year to school year,I find the answer is simple. I now know the answer. Nintendo games always bring me back to my youth, when the word *work* had no meaning and games became a religious activity. Nintendo to me, has always been to me a escape from reality, and placed me to a time where everything was so pleasant/easier/close to perfect. This my friends is I call my childhood, call it what you like. Nintendo games have always had an underlying theme of simplicity and fun to them. However, in saying this, it should also be mentioned that they've always evoked emotions in us like so few games out there do. [This I call Nintendo] You see, I've owned many and played many other consoles but to me the "Nintendo" is being able to return to a time where I was just a child, where everything had no meaning and It would be just me and my Nintendo just sitting there for *Hours*. I thank Nintendo for allowing me, too still at this time, be able to sit down and restore those moments.
To all you gamers, who are just beginning to pick up your first console *To the next generation*, this recognition will have no meaning but 10 years down the road, you shall understand what and why I am saying and making this recognition. I can only hope that you feel what I feel, regardless if your first console has been a GameCube, Dreamcast, PS2 or Xbox. If you can feel then what I feel today, I will rest assured knowing that gaming has not lost what it has always intended to do ; allow us to escape reality and bring us to another world where we can just let ourselves go.
