Graphics
The first game for Nintendo 64, this game had very good graphics. Nintendo did a good job with making everything very smooth. Some things were a little blocky, but still good nonetheless. I give it 8.5/10
Music
Super Mario 64 has a nice soundtrack. Not all the music could really be considered "great" but it's still good. I featured the "Road to Bowser" MIDI on the website, since I think that's the best one. My second choice would have been the Snow Mountain MIDI. My score: 8/10
Gameplay
This game made good use of the Analog Control Stick. When I first started to play the game, I sat there and ran Mario around in circles. This gave a lot more freedom to the game. You could do 3 or 4 different jumps. You could stomp your butt to the groud. You could wear one of three different caps to give you special abilities like invisibility, the ability to fly, and being made of metal. Bowser was big too. I give it 9/10
Replay
I can't currenty (10/25/01) give my opinion on replay value.
Story
same as replay.
Conclusion
I got this game back in 1996, and it seems like people are still buying it. This is still a quality game that I think anyone with a Nintendo 64 should buy. (It's cheaper on EBAY.) My final score: 87%
