Wow. This is an excellent video game. Jay and I just got done beating the game, continuing only once. We set a new high score in the process. It's practically the same game as the original Contra, but with a different story. We LOVE this game.
Graphics
I really don't see the need for having a graphics category for NES games. Their graphics are always the same. Super C has exactly the same graphics as Contra, but I noticed that at the end of the game, when the final boss appears, it has a cool red block falling effect. For this, I give it 8.5/10
Music
Just like Contra, this game has some good music too. The midi now is of stage 1. I give it 8.5/10
Gameplay
Gameplay is EXCELLENT. Playing a 2 player game makes it SUPER EXCELLENT. This is such an addictive game. An expected 9.5/10
Replay
We just can't get enough of this game. We made it all the way to stage 8 without continuing, and we will REPLAY this game until we beat it without dying. In 2 player, this game has excellent replay value, and pretty much the same with 1 player. An understatement: 10/10
Story
Another alien group has arrived on the Earth and you must kill them all. I give it 9/10
Conclusion
This is one of those good NES games that I actually own. Believe it or not, I got this game 4 free! This game is a good improvement from the original Contra. My final score: 94%
