StarCraft has to be about the second  best strategy game on the market. Beaten only by it's fantasy counterpart WarCraft. In StarCraft you get to pick from three different races... Terran (Human), Zerg (Bugs) and Protoss (Smart Things?). Each has their ups and downs, such as the Zerg's workers turn into the buildings they are building and can only be used once. And the Protoss' workers tap the buildings from another world so there is 0 building delay and  the worker can go zap up more stuff while that one is shooting through some kind of wormhole.
This game has some pretty nice graphics for a sky view strategy. Blizzard has to be the master of strategy games. StarCraft can be played in a Singer Player mod where you do missions as Terran, Zerg or Protoss. Or play Multi Player where you can kick your friends ass all over the map.

StarCraft comes fully installed with a Map Editor so you can create your own missions and fighting maps. This editor is a little hard to use at first but with some time you'll pick it up pretty fast (if you don't have the mind of a nut shell). You are basically god in this editor you can change how many units and building you and your opponents (or teammates) have. So either you have the upper hand or you like a challenge and give them the upper hand.
All and all StarCraft for the computer is a pretty kick ass game and I advise you to buy it ASAP. Order from Blizzard Entertainments HERE!
