PACK 373 FIELD TRIP

SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 2001

We will be going to the California Science Center and IMAX
Theatre in Exposition Park, next to the Coliseum in Los
Angeles, 700 State Drive on Saturday, March 24.  The Science
Center is open from 10 am to 5 pm and is free.  Parking is
$5 (or $10 for vans or vehicles with more than 7).  This is
a wonderful place for kids to explore many different facets
of science.

Next door is the 5 story IMAX Theatre.  The newest show is
called "Amazing Caves" and will be shown on that day at 11,
1, 3, 5 and 8 pm. It would be good if we could go together
to the 1 pm show (it lasts about
an hour). There is a cost involved with this and depending
on how many of you make reservations, the charge may be
lowered.  The cost for ages 4-12 is $3.75 and for adults is
$6.50.  (If we have a group of 15 or more, adults will pay
$5 and ages 4-17 pay $3.75.)

Meet at the parking lot of the California Science Center at
10:00.  Here are the directions:  Take 110 Freeway south,
exit at Martin Luther King and turn right at the end of the
offramp.  Turn right at Figueroa and left at 39th street.
Then turn into the parking lot!  Don't forget that parking
is $5.
