Engines rev, tires squeal
Hands gripping tight on the wheel
The flag drops, the race is on
Like a blur they are here then they're gone

Around the turns they speed
Trying hard to gain the lead
Balanced by fate, luck and skill
Hurrying toward the ultimate thrill

Out of the pits in record time
Hoping to hold their place in the line
Fighting for control of the track
And to be the leader of the pack

Racing hard until the very end
Approaching the final bend
Fast as the car can go
Giving the fans an awesome show

Man and machine, a perfect match
Impossible for anyone to catch
Crossing the line before the rest
Proving again who is best!
