At the Pollock School we believe that music is an integral part of a child's development, and that music affords children another vehicle to express themselves and communicate with others. Children actively involved in making music is the focus of Pollock's music program. Every child at the Pollock School receives general instructions in music. These instructions include musical concepts which align with the National Music Standards. MESSAGE FOR 4TH GRADERS: Welcome back to school. This year, the first week of November, the 4th grade students in rooms 114, 116, and 118 will begin studying the soprano recorder . The soprano recorder may be purchased in our school office from The Home and School Association. The cost of the recorder is $5.00. Don't wait. Get your recorder now before they run out of stock.
