Berlin Fire Department Diorama

Stations 628 and 500 have been dispatched for an MVA with entrapment.  Crews find one truck wrapped around a telephone pole with one person still trapped inside.  This fictitious scene was created in 1/64 scale using trucks by Code 3, Ertl, and Die-Cast Promotions (International 4400 ambulance cab).  The firefighter and EMS crew figures were hand painted and lettered as true to life as possible.  The Hurst rescue tool powerplant and the backboard are just a few of the custom items created for use in the diorama.  The pickup truck was damaged by shooting it with a .22 caliber rifle from a distance of about 20 feet.  This diorama was debuted at the Berlin Vol. Fire Dept. Annual Farm Toy Show in November of 2007.
