To A Poem Entitled: Call of the End
I Hear the Call of the End
The ground twists beneath my feet
As Gaia cries out
She calls my soul into the ground
so clear this is my path Why even still, ill memories
Haunt me to this day
how do I ease this pain
Gaia this I pray
The thunder so loud and piercing
It shakes my bleeding heart
I plead and beg, "redemption!"
for a swift and final end
to a harsh and morbid start
Great power and love your spirit holds
inside for all to see
take me in
your warm gracious arms
and rock me fast asleep
