Well, we are entering our third week here in the USA at Woodloch Pines. On Dec 3rd, three Aussies, Em, Meerz and Vix, arrived in JFK Airport, New York, after being in transit for around 24hours. Then after being picked up by Safety Services Officer Craig (or ‘Snookums’ as Vix has dubbed him) they drove from New York, through New Jersey and went to Perkins Restaurant for dinner…at 12:00am. Then on to Woodloch near the town of Hawley, Pennsylvania. Once at Woodloch, the Aussies were shown to the ‘Pocono House’, out in the woods and guarded by a life-size fibreglass Indian Chief holding a beer bottle. Inside their dorm, in room A, they met Franny from New Zealand who was to be their roommate. After some talking, the four finally settled to sleep at about 1:30am. The adventure had begun…
