Well, it's just Vix in Room A at Pocono House... (which means this third-person narration can finally go!)... On Monday Feb 24th, I accompanied Em, Franny and Meerz to New York for the last time to drop them off at JFK airport... The three-hour drive seemed to take 30 minutes as the moments ticked by that we would all still be together... Tears flowed according to what song played on the radio... Gwyneth Paltrow's and Huey Lewis' "Cruisin' Together" sparked off some emotions as Craig (aka Snookums) quietly drove us the journey... Later on the George Washington Bridge, a rendition of Bette Milder's "Wind Beneath My Wings" was sung along to in tribute to our favourite Safety Services Officer... From JFK, Meerz flew out to Florida, and Em and Franny stayed with Mel and her family once again on Staten Island... I however will remain at The Pines for another 1-2 weeks before flying out to California, then leaving the States on March 17th... Until then, lots of shopping, lots of socialising, and lots of snow, snow, snow....
