I'm 18 years old, a freshman majoring in English secondary edu. at Wilson College in PA. I'm about 5'4" tall with kind of wavy blonde hair past my shoulders (I got 16" cut off this summer!) and blue eyes. I've taken ballet and other dance classes for 14 years. I'm a Christian, a member of the United Brethren Church, a former member of the Nazarene Church. I have a mom and dad, an older brother (21; Chris) and five cats. (Tabby, Bobbi, Max, Kiki and Dusty--I did not name them, so don't look at me. I'd probably have named them "Beelzebub" or "Orpheus" given the chance, which is most likely the reason why my parents didn't give me the chance. Heh. Chris did try to name Max "Seymour" or at least "Herbert", but that didn't swing with Dad.) I'm obsessed with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings! I love fantasy/sci-fi and all sorts of fiction. I love movies and I have very eclectic tastes in music--I listen to a lot of Christian with the secular, and I enjoy everything from Linkin Park to Josh Groban. My two best friends are Jess and Diane, but I'm blessed with a big circle of (mostly insane like me) friends. Insane people, as everyone knows, make the best friends. My roommate's name is Megan; we live on-campus. I just recently started a work-study job, which is my first job ever. My favorite musical artist is probably Rich Mullins, my favorite poet is probably Emily Dickinson and my favorite writers include C.S. Lewis and Connie Willis. This is like saying that my favorite color is green. I mean, if pressured to pick one, I'll say green 'cause: 1) people don't know what cerulean is, and 2) they don't like it when you try to avoid the question by saying you really do like them all, or at least most of them. That's my thing about favorites. Hm, what else? I grew up in the country, and one of my favorite things to do is take long walks out where there's nobody else around, either in the fields or the woods. I love to write (fantasy mostly, poetry, and I've recently gotten into fanfiction), I love to draw (I'm the best at portraiture: if you know me, sit for me!), I enjoy singing (I'm in the college choir) and of course, dance. I also love photography, particularly since my graduation gift was a digital camera, so you'll see plenty of my work on the site!
