I've been far too lazy/busy lately to update the GBU, so I'll give you the relevant info here. :)
Monday was Dean's Day, which means we didn't have any class. We rented Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail because Roomie had never seen it before. I also bought The Mummy, but we haven't watched it yet. Today Megs and I went to Route 5 to snoop around, and M bought her sister a housewarming gift. I love some of the stuff in there, but I can't afford it! Like this FABULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL green leather covered blank book, with a tooled tree on the front--I love it! But it's sixty bucks, and I don't think it's worth that much money to me. So yeah.
Out my office window at work. I'm done with work for the semester! Hallelujah!
Took a walk just now. I love late April! Everything is turning green, and that beautiful place in the woods has become a veritable cathedral. Ah, spring.
Quotes: Liz: Just remember, slouching can be used as a weapon. Dana: You're not a normal bitchy girl. Take that as a compliment. Ash: What are you petting? Meg (dreamily): I'm not petting anything; I'm swimming! Ash: Aren't you glad we don't live in the middle ages? They only bathed once a year. Meg: Ashley, if you decide to reinact the middle ages, I will NOT be your roommate. Dana: Kids are cute. At a distance.
I finally finished a fanfiction! It's the very first one I've ever finished (bad Ashley). I'm so proud! And kind of sad that it's over. But I'm planning a sequel! My fanfiction profile.
And these would be my friends. *ahem* lol Kidding, guys!
You have to read "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Stetson. It's great! About this lady in the late Victorian period that is confined to a single room for her nerves, and the room has this really nasty yellow wallpaper, and the lady goes nuts. It's great! :D
Dana headbanging to Du Hast. Megs is much funnier, but it doesn't transfer to film as well. :)
Oh man, seven more days of classes (six, if the seniors are successful on senior day), then three finals, and school is officially OUT for the summer! Wahoo! I have a lot of work to do between now and then, though. A big essay to write on Dracula, a short essay to fix up for Women in Dance, 25 stupid sentences to write for stupid Spanish class, and a short paper to write for choir. Gah. Should get to work.
But I'm not! Hee hee
This summer I intend to write a lot (original and fan- fiction), read a lot, visit my roomie and learn to ride, go to Creation
