Today I took a Journey Back in Time

To the Place of Long Ago ...

Even though it was only in my Mind

One more time I got To Love You So .

Many years have past

But the memory never fades...

Of that one starry summer night

And the promises that We made.

And under the moon

We danced to Old love tunes...

And In this Big wide world

 There was just a Me and You.

There carved in a tree

The Heart made for Me...

Now weathered with time

But My mind still sees.

So when I miss you so

To these memories I will hold ...

But You'll never know.
