Reach For the Light

There is a song in My heart

That plays endlessly  through time ...

Its  melody and sweet refrains

Echoing infinitely are only mine .

The sounds are so haunting

Lingering heavy in the air ...

 It's Like reaching for sunlight

Finding nothing when you open your hand.

No words  flow or ebb in my mind ...

Just crescendos of emotions

Are what's there to find.

Carrying me to the depths of despair ...

Then Lifting me to the heavens

Hoping I find you there.

I reach for the light

Of The music that hangs in mid air ...

I open My hand

Only to find nothing is there .

No words to flow and ebb in my mind

Just the crescendo of emotions

Is All I can find.
