Our only air strip in the fifties was a relatively straight, and mostly level, piece of the only paved road on the island. One end fell off the cliff-side and the other, as you can see, made a sharp left and continued up the hill to the radar site. Landings and take-offs were interesting - more fun to watch than experience! John London.
