The white ballet slippers, how can I tell you how much I like these ones? I bought them in London, back in 1997, before I knew that I was not alone in the ballet fetish... I was on a work trip and basically, at the hotel, I checked the local Yellow Pages searching for ballet shops. I was at St. Gilles Hotel in Tottenham Court Rd, near the junction with Oxford St. and to my excitement discovered that only a couple of blocks down, in the direction of Covent Garden, there was a ballet shop. It's at 9 West St. in Cambridge Circus. I entered the store desperately trying to control my nerves, asked for a pair of European #37 white slippers (I didn't mention any brand) and the girl asked "Leather or Canvas?". I paid and that's it. A couple of days later I left the rain behind and I was back on the Sun with a very special present to Coffecat, well of course that it was much of a present to her as it was for me. These white slippers are the ones from the Slipper Tour a well and they have many stories in them now, as they are Coffecat's favorites.
In this photo session Coffecat wanted to picture her feet, in the white slippers, but not in bare feet as it's usual. She had these delicious cotton socks with her as a surprise, she bought it one day before. She liked them so much that a few days later she returned to the store and bought a bunch of more socks like these ones, one for every color that was available. I must confess that I also liked the socks, even if bare feet inside slippers is THE thing for us, these socks work on me very strongly as well. Enjoy.
