Here is Dee's second fic. It's short, but sweet. Enjoy.
Summary: Set before the Pilot, first in a series. During a botched rescue attempt, Bell takes a fall and gets a concussion. He thinks he’s fine and decides to finish out the shift, but between Ryan’s temper, the efforts of a rather overzealous new probie named Wick, and one huge headache, maybe he should have just gone home!
Over-all Rating: PG-13
Author's Notes: Humor/Drama/smidge o' Angst. This fic is the first in what will hopefully end up being a series (as yet unnamed, but the sequel is One False Move); subsequent stories will be missing scenes from the episodes, I think. It's set about a year before the series pilot, and Wick is still a probie - with a lot to learn! Also, the way I figure it, Ryan and Bell have been working together about two years so far.
