Located just off the coast of Honduras, the island of Roatan was the perfect place to relax after some rough traveling on the mainland of Central America.   Camping right on the shore, we were able to relax on the white sand beaches, splash in the 80 degree water, and snorkle the coral reefs just offshore whenever we desired.   The highlight of any visit to Roatan is to go deep-sea diving.  I dove every day for two weeks.  I did my first night dive and did several dives to 100 feet along a coral wall.  It was incredible but scary.
