The Wanky Song (Live)

Musical Standing: Hobbyist
Style of Piece: Pop/Rock/Easy Listening
A Little About the Piece:
Up until now, I've never actually had to sit down and think about what this song's about. Thinking about it for a while, I came up with some quality BS about how this song was actually a very poignant social critizism of society's cotinually inreasing tolerance of violence, inhumanity, and yadday, yadda, yadda. But I forgot to write all of it down, so now I don't remember it. So now the song's about, umm... some chick I saw on the Metro the other day who was way cute. The one in that sorta maroon sorta sweater. You know who you are.
Evaluation:
Structure - (10) Exactly what can be expected from a song named "Wanky." It's very much a TV show finale theme. The changes in the middle really bring the effect of different personalities to mind. The Recapitulation is well timed and recognizable.
Musicality - (9.5) It moves ahead nicely through out. The elaborations in the recap are really well done. The first change is a little sudden, but effective.
Theme - (9.5) A very catchy theme! It is a well thought out, and interesting theme. However, it has little development thoughout. Only in the end are there any embelishments. Perhaps the piece need to be a little longer with more phrases to do this.
Performance - (10) The Applause says it all! The re-entrance of the the applause makes it a very convincing "live" performance.
