Luanah, Russell,and Arry Elizabeth Sizemore were children of Ephraim Sizemore and Naomi(Oma) Ritchie. Ignore the mistake on first ECA where it states Elizabeth Grigsby as Ephraim Sizemore's wife. Riley Sizemore was son of Russell Sizemore. Below, I have included an important part of his application. Ephraim's father was Edward Sizemore, who married Luanah Bohlen/Bolen. Edward was son of George Sizemore and Agnes Shepherd. In 1907 the U.S. government offered to pay the descendants of the Eastern Cherokee for land taken from their ancestors. Well, over 2000 Sizemore and Sizemore related families filled out these applications. They were called ECA's or Eastern Cherokee Claim Forms. In the end, the Sizemore's could not prove their Indian ancestry. But, these applications are priceless. They prove four generation back on my Sizemore line. There are hundreds of these applications available on micro-film.
