So why do youth work when clearly you have other interests?

A fair and legitimate question.

The answer: In a nutshell, money, because I had never EVER worked as a student (not including work experience)

The story: I guess you might like to know a little more on why I chose to accept the job, and keep going.

Doing voluntry work with Freeza was always a fun experience, and I believe my skills and experience can bring some fresh ideas.

With a 2 year plan set in mind, my main objective was to save a certain amount of money, and then move on to education.

Starting in late April of 2003, my first day involved re-connecting with my old Youth Council, where I once sat and gave thoughts and opinions about any matters.

However, this has dramatically changed since taking on this job because I have learned alot more about myself in terms of what I am capable of doing, and what I want to do with myself now.

Since taking on this job, I have been given alot more responsibility, which I sometimes very much HATE! but its part and parcel of the job, and I don't think I would change it too much.

Working in this area has given a new dimension to me about what youth is about, and what can be done. It has impacted me greatly on what I want to do.

Working in this field has also given me a wonderful chance to meet alot of wonderful, and perhaps not so wonderful people, but the great ones make up for all of the "not so good" ones. You can read more about on who I've met on one of the other pages on the home page. Just click back on your browser, and it should be on the bottom. I will link it as well pretty soon.
