A movie, Lion of The Desert, was quite
popular when I was born. It is about the Libyan struggle for freedom in
the 1930’s lead by a 70-year-old fighter, Sheik Omar Al-Mokthar but I
am not sure how long it lasted on TV.

Nostalgia
When I was born, the price of a postage stamp was only about RM0.15( 15 cents ) but now it is RM0.30( 30 cents ).
Dr. Mahathir Mohammad was the leader of my country when I was born and he still is until this day. He has done much to help and develop my country. The deputy prime minister was Anwar Ibrahim when I was born but he was replaced with Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
One toy that was popular on my birthday was Rubik’s Cube. A Hungarian, Erno Rubik in the1970s, invented it. It was said that he offered 1000pounds to anyone who can match the six colored sides correctly. The people spent long periods of time with it and most said it was an impossible task.
Summary/Evaluation
I enjoyed working on this project because I found out lots of interesting information about the day I was born.
